Court Validates Atiku’s Petition, Strikes Out Portion Of Atiku’s Petition Alleging Vote Buying Against VP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has just won the first round of preliminary judgment in the ongoing ruling of the Presidential Tribunal

This comes as the Tribunal sitting in Abuja, on Tuesday, held that the petition of Atiku and the PDP seeking to nullify President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election was validly and competently filed.

The PEPC upheld the argument by President Muhammadu Buhari that the jurisdiction to an allegation of corrupt practices and voters’ inducement raised against Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in the petition by Atiku Abubakar and the PDP lacked merit.
