The Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade on Tuesday presented Brand New Car Prizes to Mr. Great Obono (Mr. Leboku) and Miss Obal Otu (Miss Leboku) Winners of Leboku Festival 2020.
The first and second runners-up, Mr. John Mbui and Jesam Okoi received brand new motorbikes and hairstylist equipment respectively.
Also in the Best harvester 2020 category, the winner Mrs. Sunday Ikpi won a brand new Toyota truck while the 1st and 2nd runner up, Constance Omini and Usor Ofem received complete cassava equipment and complete hairdressing equipment respectively.
The presentation held at the Palace of the Obol Lopon of Ugep in Yakurr Local government area of Cross River State with the governor represented by the SSA Governor’s office events production and tourism, Mr. Thomas Ikpeme.
The festival is an annual event that holds at Ugep in Yakurr Local government area of Cross River State and attracts tourists from different part of the country.
