Seven journalists from various media organisations across Nigeria have won the journalism fellowship on the #TransFatFreeNigeria campaign, organised by the Corporate Accountability and Public Participation Africa (CAPPA).

The journalists include Hit FM’s Abenmire Adi, Andrew Mshelia of Nagarta Radio, Agbonkhese Oboh of Vanguard, Chukuwumah Muanya of The Guardian), Temitayo Ayetoto (Business Day), Frank Ajufo (Vision FM) and Amos Abba (ICIR).

The fellowship supported by Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI) is part of CAPPA’s efforts to build the capacity of the Nigerian media and focus on ways to eliminate trans fat from Nigeria¹s food supply from an informed perspective in line with the World Health Organisation’s recommended standards for countries to follow.
