23 thousand vaccinated against COVID-19 in CRS – DG CRPHCDA

The Cross-River Primary Health Care Development Agency (CRPHCDA) says about 23 thousand persons have been vaccinated in the on-going phase of the COVID-19 AstraZeneca jab roll-out in the state.

The Director General of CRPHCDA, Dr. Janet Ekpenyong who disclosed this at Hitfm Calabar on Tuesday, shortly after administering the COVID jab to Patrick Ugbe, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of your Best Music, Best Talk radio station (Hit Fm), also noted that no serious adverse event has been recorded so far.

Dr Ekpenyong further noted that Hitfm staff were considered for the first phase because they are part of the targeted population as frontline workers.
