The People’s Democratic Party Governors’ Forum on Wednesday visited Cross River state governor Ben Ayade, to discuss issues bordering on the party’s unity in the South-South states.
The chairman of the forum, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State led Governors Ifeanyi Okowa of delta and Ifeanyi Ugwuayi of Enugu states on the visit to Calabar.
After about two hours closed door meeting at the Government House, Calabar, Governor Tambuwal told journalists that the meeting “was a fruitful, peaceful and productive engagement, with the stakeholders of Cross River.
The Sokoto state Governor said the report of the meeting will be taken to the Governors’ Forum and the National working committee of the party for examination, deliberation and action.
Our correspondent reports that the three visiting governors were later led by governor Ayade to the state Industrial Park.
