To further curb criminalities in Cross River state, the Hunters Group of Nigeria in the State is currently recruiting young men and women into its fold.
This was revealed in Calabar on Monday, when the State Commander, Captain Joshua Etuk led a team of officers on a courtesy visit to the management of Hit fm.
Speaking, Assistant Commander, Inyang Eyo while noting that the security service partners with other security agencies, also highlighted that it’s officers have caught some criminals in the Calabar metropolis in recent times.
Eyo further appealed to the government to empower the state command with ammunitions, vehicles, gadgets and other equipment that would enable the group to carry out its mandate effectively in the state.
Responding, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hitfm, Patrick Ugbe said the work of the Hunters Group of Nigeria is critical, adding that community policing will help the country out of its current situation.
