CRISSA Reiterates Ban On Use Of Paper Posters

The Cross River State Signage and Advertisement Agency, CRISSA, says the ban on the use of paper posters which was put in place by the Cross River State Government in 2011, is still in force.

A statement issued on Wednesday by the Director General CRISSA, Effiom Effiwatt noted that the Agency has documented and removed several paper posters placed on pubic space across Calabar metroplis by political groups in violation of the ban.

While noting that the proscribed fines for violation have been recorded against defaulters, CRISSA further advised political parties and the general public to admonish and educate their members as defaulters will be made to face the full wrath of the law, adding that appropriate fines will be enforced accordingly.
