The Cross River State Ministry of international Development Cooperation, MIDC, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA, on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021, held a review meeting for the UN-DAO 2021 mid-year programme implementation.
Speaking during the event, held in Calabar on Tuesday, the Commissioner, Ministry of International Development Cooperation, Inyang Asibong said the review will afford stakeholders the opportunity to examine the extent of implementation of the year’s programmes.
On his part, the Head, Cross River UNFPA office, Omolaso Omosehin in an interview with our correspondent, revealed that there were plans to set up a digital village based on the disposition of parent agencies.
He also commended the state government’s partnership.
Speaking Earlier, the representative from the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s office, Ayodeji Olugbemi commended the state government for its level of commitment on UN- assisted developmental programmes.
