In fulfillment of his promise to engage members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Governor of Cross River state Ben Ayade on Tuesday approved the immediate engagement of 500 appointees from the eighteen Local Government Areas of the state.
This was disclosed in a press release signed by the Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita and made available to journalists in Calabar on Tuesday 31st August, 2021.
The list included 26 appointees from Abi , Akamkpa 26, Akpabuyo 27, Bakassi 26, Bekwarra 26, Biase 28, Boki 29, Calabar Municipality 25, Calabar South 32, Etung 26, Ikom 28, Obanliku 26, Obubra 28, Obudu 26, Odupkani 32, Ogoja 27, Yakurr 32 and Yala with 32 appointees.
The statement further urged all the listed appointees to proceed to their respective local governments of origin for documentation.
