Cross River State Governor Decries Difficulty To Have Free And Fair Elections In Nigeria.

Cross River state governor Ben Ayade has charged the Independent National Electoral Commission to live up to its mandate in order to give Nigerians the needed confidence and assurance for them to willingly exercise their franchise.

The state governor who gave the charge when he received the newly posted Resident Electoral Commissioner REC of the state Cyril Omoregbe at the government house, expressed sadness over the increasing level of difficulty to have a free and fair election in the country.

Governor Ayade who appealed to the conscience of the state REC, asked citizens not to be discouraged by all the negativities as there is hope for the country.
