The British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Gill Atkinson, was on Wednesday November 24th, 2021, invited as one of the Special guest at this year’s Carnival Calabar.
Atkinson’s invitation to the carnival was pronounced by Cross River State Governor Ben Ayade, in Calabar, on Wednesday, on the sidelines of a courtesy call on the Governor by the diplomat.
Governor Ayade said the 2021 Carnival Calabar will be very special.
This pronouncement by the governor puts an end to series of doubts and speculations that the carnival will not hold.
