The Executive Director of Neighbourhood Care-Well Foundation, Victoria Emah-Emah, says members of the society must take keen interest in addressing the current get-rich trend amongst youths in the country, which has resulted in some young boys killing their loved ones for money rituals.

The Social Development Practitioner, who spoke in an interview with our correspondent, was reacting to the ongoing trial of the four male teenagers, who murdered and beheaded Sofiat Kehinde in Ogun state for money rituals.

Emma-Emma who noted that the boys might have been brain-washed by some persons and not necessary the Facebook post, said the root cause has to been dealt with.

The Social Development Practitioner also went further to chastise parents, for failing both the victim and the suspects.

Meanwhile, the Ogun State Police Command says its operatives are working to hunt and arrest a social media user, who posted a get-rich-quick video on Facebook from where the four Ogun teenagers learnt money rituals
