Residents in Akpabuyo Community Decry Incessant Communal Clashes, Call for Help
Some residents of Ikot-Edem Ndarake in Akpabuyo Local government Area of Cross River state are calling on the State Government and security agents to come to their aid after a communal clash broke out in the community on Tuesday.
A source, who confirmed this to Hitfm news on Wednesday, April 26, said the occurrence has left an unspecified number of people dead and others injured.
The Source, who simply gave his name as Anthony, said some community members have been forced to take refuge in bushes, due to the fracas which ensued as a result of leadership tussle.
