The Director General, Cross River State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Abasioffiong Offiong has carried out a revamping of the entire Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) in the state, ensuring that no facility is left behind in terms of renovation and restocking of commodities and consumables.

A statement released by Ntem Chris from the Health Agency on Thursday, notes that the DG reassured Cross Riverians that every dilapidated health facility that needs renovation and restocking will be attended to, adding that no Cross-riverian will be comfortable receiving care in an environment that is not conducive.

Some of the PHCs undergoing renovation in the state include; PHC Ikot Ishie in Calabar Municipality, PHC Onoyom in Eniong, Odukpani, PHC Echumofana in Yala amongst others, while commodity restocking is ongoing across all facilities that need such.
