The government of Cross River state through the ministry of health and its various partners, is set to begin the registration of households and the distribution of insecticide treated nets, ITNS, across the state.

A total 2 million, 797 thousand, 359 ITNS donated by the United States President Malaria Initiative, PMI, will be distributed on a household basis using technology, in a bid to contribute to the achievements of malaria elimination goals.

Speaking in an interview with journalists on the sideline of a media parley organized in respect of the campaign on Monday, the state Commissioner for Health, Dr Janet Ekpeyong, said the state government and its partners are committed to the campaign, in the interest of every Cross Riverian.

Also speaking, the Team Lead for the Cross River State 2023 ITNs Campaign, Ikemefuna Adeosun, spoke on how technology will be deployed for the proper distribution of the ITNs, to households across the state.
